Host Nations: USA and West Indies
The tournament brings fresh challenges with teams playing in the USA for the first time under conditions they are largely unfamiliar with.

Teams Competing:

A total of 20 teams are divided into four pools of five teams each:

  • Pool A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, USA
  • Pool B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman
  • Pool C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, Uganda
  • Pool D: Sri Lanka, South Africa, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal

The top two teams from each pool will advance to the Super 8s.

World Cup Venues:

The tournament will be held across nine stadiums in the West Indies and the USA. Of all the matches, 16 will take place in the USA across three cities—Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York—while the remaining 41 matches will occur in six cities across the West Indies. The semi-finals are scheduled for Trinidad and Guyana, with the finals in Barbados.
